Beautiful morning to all,thank God for yet another awesome day full of his tender mercies:)Weekends are blessings to us from God,time for us to connect with our family without the rush .Did I just said that? Sure the mother’s work is never done our families depend on us to bring the warmth,love,cuddle,conversation and all that matters wrapped up in a well home-cooked meal so with no further ado I’d love to quickly share this little yet satisfying meal.
- Sweet Potatoes
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Smoked paprika
- Chilli flakes
- Mixed spice
- Chicken Wings
Let the oven heat up for 15 minutes then combine the mixed spice,coriander,salt,chilli flakes and smoked paprika and coat the chicken wings, set them in the oven to grill.Then go on to fry the Sweet potato chips in batches making sure to use hand towel to dry off excess oil from it.
Sweet Potatoes are really not as popular as their celebrity cousin White Potatoes but I tell you what they are both interesting in different ways with various health benefiting nutrients for instance the sweet potatoes are a good source of vitamin A because of the orange colour which is the beta-carotene same as carrot, good source of vitamin C something to consider with the cold season beckoning,vitamin B6,B1 &B2.
Note: Sweet potatoes can be baked or use to thicken soups naturally without the fat laden creams and all that.
